The Role
As a medical writer at HealthPrize, you’ll assist in the creation of user-facing educational content, research to remain up to date on the latest healthy lifestyle practices, actively manage and update a growing content library, and collaborate with our operations team to ensure the best possible user experience on the HealthPrize platform. You must be a hard-working writer and editor who is passionate about the medical space.
Your primary responsibility will be working with our Manager of Medical Writing and Content to produce user-facing educational content on disease states including diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia, among others. In addition to disease state content, you will be responsible for drafting content on topics including diet, stress management, physical activity, and other healthy lifestyle tenets. You will also work closely with our Ops team, providing support over the course of each program launch.
This is a remote position with a maximum of 29 hours of work per week, Monday – Friday, based on candidate preference.
As a successful candidate, you have:
- At least 2-3 years of experience writing medical content
- Excellent attention to detail related to consistency, tone, and grammar
- Adept at simplifying medical terminology
- Possess outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
